Residence Halls Contracts
The residence halls contract includes a furnished room, a dining plan, all utilities, wireless internet, cable TV, a/c, heat and access to computer labs. You must be admitted to SIU to complete a University Housing contract. A $150 prepayment is required with the contract. The contract is available in the link to the right during the contract dates listed below. Contract terms and costs are linked in the menu to the left. To access the contract, you'll need your Dawg Tag number and password.
Fall 2018/Spring 2019 Contracts
NEW STUDENTS: You may complete your residence halls contract once you are admitted, provided the online contract is available. Contract dates are below.
- Dec. 1, 2017 - June 1, 2018: Students may contract online and select their own room during their assigned room selection period in summer 2018.
- July 1, 2018 and later: Students may contract online. Pending space availability, they will either be assigned a room or may select their own room. More information will be available in the spring.

Spring ONLY Contracts
NEW STUDENTS: The contract for new students entering SIU during the spring semester is typically available online between early October and mid-January of the fall semester. Room assignments are typically made in January. You will be able to view your assignment online here prior to move-in.
CURRENT STUDENTS: Current residents do not need to complete a new contract for spring as their current contract is for the academic year and ends after completion of the spring semester.
Fall 2019/Spring 2020 Contracts
